YOGI TEA

Yogi Tea

These days I regularly have a pot of Yogi Tea boiling on the stove to be stored and taken out when needed. While this herbal formula is called a “tea”, it is more properly considered a decoction. The herbs are boiled up to three hours and the liquid is then strained and the herbs thrown away.

Yogi Tea is a famous recipe that was introduced to this country by Yogi Bhajan. Apparently in Northern India, it is a widespread remedy given especially to children in the flu season. It is often served in yoga studios to replenish the body and maintain its metabolic heat after a vigorous workout. This prevents the body from cooling down too fast which can lead to toxic states of indigestion (Sans. ama, Tib. ma zhu ba) which would be stored in the body’s tissues.

The first two of these herbs, Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum: bitter/hot; warming) and Clove (Syzygium aromaticum: hot, warming) are materia medica from the division of so called “essence medicines” (rtsi sman), medicines so named, according to Tenzin Phuntsok (the famed author of the definitive 18th century Tibetan pharmacopeia, Dri Med Shel Phreng or Mālā of Stainless Crystal) because they “...destroy illness and restore the physical constituents.”

The twenty-fourth chapter of the explanatory tantra states:

Cardamom removes all cold kidney diseases.

In the winter season, the heat of the kidneys is especially vulnerable to the cold. Since the kidneys are an important site of water and kapha (Tib. bad kan) in the body, adding cardamom to one’s diet protects the heat of the kidneys and supports their function of eliminating wastes from the body. It also supports the metabolic heat of the stomach, aiding digestion overall.

The next on the list is cloves, about which it is said:

Clove removes diseases of the aorta and cold wind.

The action of clove focuses specifically on the arterial system of the body, especially the aorta. Its warming action balances the prāṇavāyu (srog ‘dzin rlung) which rests in the aorta and serves to calm and balance one’s vāta throughout the whole body after heavy effort. It also acts to support the function of the metabolic heat of the stomach. Further, clove balances the action of the udāna vāyu (gyen rgyu rlung), the upward-moving wind, thus aiding in relieving congestion of the lungs in colds and old flus.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum aromaticum: sweet/hot; warming), the stuff we find in stores, which is not true Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), but rather Cassia, is up next. It is listed as a tree medicine, about which it is said:

Cassia removes cold in the stomach and the liver.

The main function of Cassia is to support digestion and stimulate the appetite (which it does through its enticing aroma). Not only does it have this function but Cassia supports the digestive heat in the liver, aiding the transformation of rasa (dwangs ma), the nutritional extract of food, into blood. It also controls vāta, which is the most important of the three humors to be on guard against, especially in cold seasons. Together with the clove, it controls vāta that can be a problem in the late fall and winter season when the cold temperatures outside aggravate the cold, rough and hard qualities of vāta and the reduced hours of sunlight often lead people to experience symptoms of cabin fever or SAD. Its expectorating functions are also excellent in combination with clove.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale:Hot; warming) is used in nearly every culture, about which it is said:

Ginger removes phlegm combined with wind, and breaks up and dissolves [unhealthy] blood.

When I make this tea, I use the fresh form of ginger, which is cooling rather than warming, according to the principle found in Indo-Tibetan medicine that in medicines, substance takes precedence over taste. In its fresh form, ginger is used as a kind of inner lubricant, aiding the overall digestion but acting as a balance against the heat of the other four herbs. It helps cleanse the channels from the small intestine to the liver that take up the rasa, and generally speaking, aids the other herbs in their metabolism-enhancing function. However, in the commercial form of Yogi Tea, the ginger present in it is dried and so adds more heat to the formula. From my point of view, this makes it more imperative to add milk or something else to balance the heat of the whole decoction.

The final herb in the list is Black Pepper (Piper Nigrum: hot; warming and hot), about which it is said:

Black pepper removes cold phlegm.

Black pepper, which is a fruit from a shrub (ldum bu), stimulates the appetite and improves one’s metabolic heat. But Acharya Vagbhata states that black pepper increases bile and is sharp, and if overused continuously can cause vāta imbalance because of its rough nature. In this formula however, the addition of clove and cinnamon balance the roughness of black pepper, along with the raw milk (if it can be gotten) and one’s sweetener of choice. Pepper prevents the accumulation of kapha, especially in the winter season.

Boiled raw cow’s milk is sweet, light and warming, reduces frequent urination, sharpens the mind, increases ojas [mdangs], removes bile and enhances potency. It cures persistent flus and colds. Raw milk is also excellent for those with so-called lactose intolerance, and seems to reduce allergies in those people who switch to its use. Otherwise, one can use Soymilk, Almond milk and so on.

Black Tea is added in a very small portion. The effect of adding tea balances the decoction with its cooling bitterness. It also offsets and balances the richness and sweetness of the milk.

Sweeteners: Maple syrup for those with excess vāta. Rock candy or sugar for those with excess pitta. Honey for those with excess kapha. If these “spoonfuls of sugar” are used, one can increase the beneficial effect of this decoction.

The recipe is as follows:

Eight cups of water
20 whole cloves
20 green cardamom pods, crushed
20 pepper corns,
eight slices of ginger
three or four sticks of Cinnamon
Milk and sweeteners to taste

Boil the cloves until one can smell their fragrance (about a minute). Add the other four ingredients, boil for half an hour. Simmer on low for another two or three hours. Strain, add milk and sweetener, store the rest for later.

The nice thing about this recipe is that it combines diet and behavior (in other words, get out there and do some yoga) and medicine in one preparation.

So cook up a pot of Yogi Tea on your stove and enjoy -- I guarantee that you will like it more than the poor substitute you will find in a teabag.

Yogi Tea Update

Hi Folks:

Just a quick update: I happened to come across a local source of true cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), also known as Ceylonese Cinnamon, and used to this to make Yogi Tea instead of cassia (Cinnamomum aromaticum).

A qualitative difference exists between these two kinds of Cinnamon. Tea made from the latter is more warming, as well as possessing an oilier, more pungent and more aromatic quality -- its aroma fills the whole room. Tea made with the former is more delicate, lighter, not as warming, not as aromatic and less pungent.

While either can be used, I find that I tend to favor cassia as an ingredient for this tea over true cinnamon because of cassia's more robust flavor and aroma.

An advantage of true cinnamon however is that it is soft and crumbly, and has an undeniably more delicate and sweeter flavor, so perhaps I will reserve my small supply of true cinnamon for my various culinary adventures, and keep the cassia for the tea.

The early Chinese believed in four magical, spiritual, and benevolent animals; the Dragon, the Tortoise, the Unicorn and the Phoenix. The Dragon was the most revered of all. In its claws, it holds an enormous magical pearl-like egg, which has the power to multiply whatever it touches. The ancients believed the "egg" symbolized the most precious treasure, which was Wisdom. Dragon eggs are said to share their magical energies with their owners. Invariably accompanied by thunder and rain, dragons move like lightning and whirlwinds - - all powerful yet totally unpredictable.

Dragon medicine includes change and transformation, wisdom, infinity, longevity and movement through space. Dragon's power is that of shedding its skin and coming out as a new, transformed being. The dragon provides us with fierce protection and possesses inherent magic, adding extra power to any thought we may have. Dragon represents the supernatural and infinite self. Dragon can ward off wandering evil spirits, protect the innocent and bestow safety to all that hold his egg. Dragon brings with it ultimate abundance, prosperity and good fortune. The Dragon is the ultimate representation of the forces of Mother Nature, the greatest divine force on Earth. From the very start, Dragons were seen as guarding treasures, holding back the floods, and dispensing knowledge. Originally, it was believed that the dragons were the ones who talked directly to the Gods.

Dragon is full of life and bravery. Extremely independent and freedom-loving, Dragon needs an environment that allows personal creativity. Dragon are dreamers, love adventure, and believe that they are destined to achieve great success. Dragon wants to make a huge impact on the world. If Dragon takes action to realize dreams, there is no limit to the heights that can be achieved. .In ancient China, the celestial Dragon represents an emperor and power. Today, it is the ultimate fortunate symbol signifying success and happiness. May the celestial Dragon bring great good luck to everyone.

White Fawn Star will facilitate this full moon meditation which will allow participants to drum and listen to Tibetan & crystal singing bowls. Rev. White Fawn Star says it is up to each one of us to collectively choose the vibration of Love and shift the paradigm from one of separation to one of union, harmony and peace. Receiving a cancer diagnosis can be devastating. Such news can trigger overwhelming feelings of helplessness or depression. Patients and family alike may not know what to expect during this troubling time. The reality of the situation cannot be avoided though, and coping can prove difficult. Where physical treatments may fail, the ascension of one’s spirit can give miraculous results. Nurturing your soul through meditation can be a great way to increase health, happiness, and overall well being.
Certain terminal cancer’s, such as mesothelioma, have a grim prognosis. The mesothelioma life expectancy is generally eight to fourteen months after diagnosis. In instances like this where traditional medicine has been ineffective, the healing light of meditation can empower the patient, allowing them to experience the richness of life in even the bleakest of times. An effective, holistic way to treat the discomfort of cancer is yoga. Stretching and breathing techniques that are practiced during yoga are able to bring a level of peace and overall awareness to one’s day-to-day activities. These strategies can also reduce stress and anxiety associated with the illness.
Because the symptoms of mesothelioma or other terminal cancers can cause severe pain, physical activities such as Yoga may be hard to practice. Coping with the physical pain of disease can potentially be the most difficult obstacle to overcome. Traditional pain killers, such as morphine, can cloud the mind causing a reduction in one’s quality of life during their remaining days. This is where meditation techniques can be extremely beneficial.
Breath meditation, in particular, is an accessible, effective, and soothing alternative to narcotics or yoga. When dealing with breathing meditation, the goal is to not only process each breath that enters the lungs but to process the energy that is brought into the body as well. Becoming aware of this feeling and allowing it to flow freely can help the body and mind cope with the physical pain of illness.
Often times, those afflicted with terminal cancers do not explore the prospect of alternative healing until their condition has significantly deteriorated their health. Sometimes it takes the diagnosis of a destructive disease such as Mesothelioma to awaken one’s soul to the healing nature of meditation. Because mesothelioma symptoms can take twenty to fifty years to surface in patients, many sufferers have lived full lives before becoming exposed to this practice. It is painful to know that those afflicted will eventually expire, however there is comfort in knowing meditation was able to bring peace to some during such a trying time.
It should be noted, however, that there are alternative coping mechanisms to terminal illness, aside from medication or meditation. Reaching out to one’s community can provide a kind of fulfillment and comfort that simply cannot be recreated. When dealing with such circumstances, it is important to cherish one’s relationships, impacting as many lives as possible.

As we continue to approach the majestic threshold of global soul awakening, now barely 2 years of linear time ahead in the Continuum, we are being given a new opportunity to prepare ourselves for this most momentous cosmic event, while also being offered the collaborative mission to facilitate, through the conduit of our Earth-embodied souls, the further expansion of Light and Love in this sphere of physical and spiritual experience. What is being suggested now is to become – and permanently remain – a vessel to both anchor and co-manifest the purest radiance of Love that can be imagined, that is, the spiritual emanation of Grace and ineffable Perfection of the Christic Consciousness and Presence, this universal vibrational template for the expression of some of the most beautiful facets of Who We collectively are as One with All That is. In other cultures, other names have been used to describe this same level of spiritual realization of our common potential – such as Buddhic Consciousness or Krishnic Consciousness – that some highly advanced souls have attained while in embodiment on Earth. What is being achieved today by a growing number of souls is the re-enactment, on an accelerated time-scale, of the pinnacle of spiritual awakening previously achieved, except this time all those souls, many of whom came here at this point in time with a significant level of preparation and former experience with this universal field of Christed Consciousness, are to collectively embody an even greater number of facets of this Cosmic Consciousness than what was achieved by individual souls in the past.

So what are the steps necessary to align ourselves towards such a sacred goal? As usual the first one is to fully and yet humbly choose to partake in this experience, a choice that is to be taken primarily at soul level where the Will of Creator Source is known and abided by. It is imperative that from this stage onward, the sole aspect of our consciousness that is to be involved with this dedicated service to the One in All is the living expression of All That Is which eternally resides at the core of the soul's spark of Light that we each Are. Any involvement of the lower aspect of our temporary earthly consciousness in any part of this Work will be an undue interference that must been seen as such and calmly put back to rest until the main part of this collective Light Service is completed. Only once an individual participant has reached such a stage of complete identification with, and fully awakened expression of this core Soul Being in us all, will it be possible to undertake the next steps. Again the only way through which such a perfect alignment is to be attained is to let the usually active analytical, discursive mind babbling come to a respectful minimum, to let it recede in the background while letting come to the foreground the fully assertive and radiant presence of the Source of All Within, and to remain fully cognizant that this is Who We truly Are throughout the rest of those sacred moments.

My “return” is indeed taking place within each of your magnificent hearts as you accept that you were created to embody all the love, the wisdom and the true power of your own Presence. The potential for living your mastery and loving from the heart of your own inner Christ is the opportunity of a lifetime ~ the opportunity of ascending into an entirely new dimension of Consciousness, for surely the time has come for moving your mind, your heart and your body into the freedom of a new Golden Age.

Mastery is generally embodied one-by-one, yet as we watch you awaken, we are observing the blossoming of your shared Oneness and seeing how it is starting to embrace the collective energies of humanity’s consciousness like a delicious spring breeze filled with the ecstatic essence of a thousand roses and the Light of a thousand suns. As you accept and feel the Oneness as your true and natural estate of being, you will want to continue living in the unconditional embrace of The Beloved more than anything else you could ever desire on any plane or dimension of being.

As this Presence is remembered within the hearts, minds and bodies of more and more of humanity, the excitement is rising like a magnificent wave ready to carry all of you into the Heart of the Beloved as the One Self you have always been. Every being on your planet is being invited to shift their consciousness out of all of the beliefs that have allowed the separation encoding to overshadow the original encoding from Source.

This original encoding from Source within your heart is connected to the dormant strands of your crystalline DNA. This is all being awakened to reveal the pre-separation information within your body and within the sphere around your body. The ecstatic essence of your Presence is calling you right now to live as your fully potentialized self. As this occurs more and more, the news will spread like wildfire and the winds that connect all of you will intensify that fire to ignite the hearts of the many who have come here specifically to awaken and to co-create the new Golden Age of Freedom.

You are moving past your ages-old need to simply hope or wish that you were living in paradise. All these kinds of futuristic desires are suddenly being absorbed into the deeper realization that you are creating your paradise in each unfolding moment. In fact, you no longer need to uncover the reasons you may be feeling unfulfilled, or why you are not experiencing your abundance, or not living with the perfect partner, etc., etc. Any limiting conditions you may be experiencing are founded in beliefs you are holding as true in your subconscious, yet underneath even the deepest programming in your subconscious is this:

You are Love.
Anything else you may believe is not true.
You are here simply to BE that Love.

Although fear was originally centered on the need to physically survive in a primitive world, it eventually became centered on the ego’s need to survive by staying in control at all costs to oneself and others in the community. In a Golden Age, the ego mind will be aligned with the soul’s higher desire to live in the unconditional love of the Presence that is shared by all. As the Presence re-enters the heart as the director of one’s thoughts, the survival of the ego will no longer be one’s primary concern.

your God Presence is the foundation of
your next cycle of creation and co-creativity.

You are all at a major choice point for yourselves personally and for yourselves collectively ~ one that is very similar to the one that rose before your hearts at the end of Atlantis. Many of us who are serving with you on the inner planes were there with you then, and we are here with you now to encourage you to support each other’s highest calling so you can eliminate competition, the need to be in control, the need to victimize yourself or others, or the need to sustain any behavior that is based on old survival programming.

Your safety and your protection is assured by your Presence. Everything that supposedly happens to you is really created by you and your Presence to awaken your soul and increase your mastery. As you surrender deeper and deeper into your own God Presence, you will realize that you are completely unencumbered by anything that happened in the past and you are totally free to move forward as a conscious co-creator of a Golden Age of Freedom.

Clean Your Kidneys For Less Than $1

Years pass by and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt, poison and any unwanted entering our body.

With time, the salt accumulates and this needs to undergo cleaning treatments.

How are we going to do this?

It is very easy, first take a bunch of parsley and wash it clean Then cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and pour in a clean bottle and keep it inside refrigerator to cool.

ONIONS ARE A NATURAL REMEDY FOR FLU AND PNEUMONIA

In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu. Many of the farmers and their family had contracted it and many died. The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). T he doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion. It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.

Now, I heard this story from my hairdresser in AZ. She said that several years ago many of her employees were coming down with the flu and so were many of her customers. T he next year she placed several bowls with onions around in her shop. T o her surprise, none of her staff got sick. It must work.. (And no, she is not in the onion business.) The moral of the story is, buy some onions and place them in bowls around your home. If you work at a desk, place one or two in your office or under your desk or even on top somewhere. T ry it and see what happens. We did it last year and we never got the flu. If this helps you and your loved ones from getting sick, all the better. If you do get the flu, it just might be a mild case.. Whatever, what have you to lose? Just a few bucks on onions!

Now there is a P. S. to this for I sent it to a friend in Oregon who regularly contributes material to me on health issues. She replied with this most interesting experience about onions:Weldon, thanks for the reminder. I don't know about the farmers story...but, I do know that I contacted pneumonia and needless to say I was very ill...I came across an article that said to cut both ends off an onion put one end on a fork and then place the forked end into an empty jar...placing the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs...sure enough it happened just like that...the onion was a mess and I began to feel better. Another thing I read in the article was that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.

Facts on honey and cinnamon:

It is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cures most diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a "Ram Ban" (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases.

Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients. Weekly World News, a magazine in Canada, on its issue dated 17 January, 1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:

HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, instead of jelly and jam, and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also those who have already had an attack, if they do this pro cess daily, they are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heart beat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.

ARTHRITIS: Arthritis patients may take daily, morning, and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before break f ast, they found that within a week, out of the 200 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.

BLADDER INFECTIONS: Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.

TOOTHACHE: Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied three times a day until the tooth stops aching.

CHOLESTEROL: Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, was found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned fo r arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. According to information received in the said journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol.

COLDS: Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold, and clear the sinuses.

UPSET STOMACH: Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.

GAS: According to the studies done in India and Japan, it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.

IMMUNE SYSTEM: Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bac teria and viral diseases.

INDIGESTION: Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.

INFLUENZA: A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural ingredient which kills the influenza germs and saves the patient from flu.

LONGEVITY: Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly, arrests the ravages of old age. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder and three cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, three to four times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increases and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.

PIMPLES: < /SPAN> Three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.

SKIN INFECTIONS: Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.

CANCER: Recent research in Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month three times a day.

FATIGUE: Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts, are more alert and flexible. Vibrational scientists consider the whole person and see beyond just the physical body into the realm of the electromagnetic energy structures, or the subtle bodies. In vibrational healing, we perceive everything as energy patterns. We see wholeness. The effects in the physical body are the end result of the emotional concepts and belief structures in the subtle bodies. The emotions of thought, accidents, and
wounds, as well as our genetic inheritance, and environment, can affect the physical body. When the Vital Force is weakened through toxins or energy blockages, the body fails to nourish itself and dis-ease results. By supplying the proper herb or vibratory frequency to remove the blockages, the body will then raise or increase its Vital Force and dis-ease will not survive in a healthy environment.
UNDERSTANDING WAVE SIGNATURES: Everything in Nature has a footprint or signature. In the electromagnetic field, the signature is a sine wave. Everything has an energy or resonance pattern. The signature of lead poisoning may look like this……., the signature of formaldehyde may look like thisxxxxx. To remove the energy sine, you must take the oposite or out of phase signature=======. This will remove it from the energy field around the body. When the electromagnetic field is free of the blockage, this substance is physically removed . It is always necessary to find the CAUSE or missing factor, behind dis-ease. It may be an emotional or spiritual origin, and the poison was a vehicle in order to learn this lesson.
The Process of Alchemy—to ascend from the third dimension, the planet and all people need to make consciousness corrections. In order to ascend into the Golden Liquid Light of our Creator, you must totally surrender to your Soul with dedication, love and light. Your higher spiritual self is composed of the Golden Liquid Light of All Creation. As you allow this higher frequency to flow into your physical being, you will change the energy codes in your physical body, at this point, we become One with Creator- this process is Alchemy.
TACHYONS – The Golden Liquid Light of our higher self is composed to tachyon energy. It is this energy field that makes up the subtle bodies. Without this field we cannot communicate with our Creator. In order for healing to occur, this communication needs to be established. Our goal is to establish communication between all our energy bodies, and to see the pattern of our own energy system.
The frequency of the tachyons can be changed by using an herb or homeopathic remedy which changes the sine wave. All herbs and homeopathic remedies are forms of wave signatures.
Herbs have a designed effect on the different systems in the body. As the herb enters the stomach, its energy pattern or tachyon field, alters the process of blood by changing the energy patterns thus becoming the Medicine which feeds the tissue of a malfunctioning gland, instead of blocking it. Naturopathic doctors believe that ninety percent of all disease and malfunctions of the body stem from congestion caused by mucus, waste and fecal matter in the bowel. Many of the diseases like asthma, bronchitis, heart problems, colic etc, are due to malnutrition caused by mucus build up. Herbs bring out a desired effect by FEEDING the body and raising the vibrational frequency. NATURAL MEDICINE REMEDIES

Natural Remedies from an Ojibwa Grandmother whose grandfather practiced the Grand Medicine, Canada. My friend in Florida:

For Bronchitis, infection, inflammation; Take 2-3 cloves of raw garlic and slice or chop.
Place on bread with olive oil to cut the heat. Take every 2 or 3 hours. Garlic is a natural antibiotic and will immediately begin the cure. Consistancy is important, take every hour, every 2 hours, or every three hours, but be consistent..

For Sinus infection or inflammation: place pure honey in the nose with a q tip and tip your head back. Honey is a pure antibiotic and will immediately heal and restore all nasal passages to normal.

For eye infection: place a drop of honey in the eye and it will be well by morning.

For ear infection: yeast forms and carries bacteria. Take honey, pure olive oil and garlic oil all mixed together. Place a small amount in the ears and allow to drain down the eustachian tube. The olive oil will take care of the yeast and the honey and garlic, both natural antibiotics, will cure the ear infection. This will make its way down into the throat and cure a sore throat also.

Bad teeth: Bacteria grows around decayed teeth and travels down into the chest, esophogus and heart. To clean teeth and get rid of yeast which the bacteria uses to travel in, use gentian violet daily. Can be purchased at the drug store and is an old remedy that works. If the tongue is coated with white, this means the presence of yeast in the mouth. Use gentian violet on the tongue to get rid of the yeast. This is very "purple" so be aware if you are planning to go to work! (my experience)

For the colds, flu, virus: echinacea tincture placed under the tongue, "everytime you go past the bottle" . Use often at the start to prevent colds, sore throat, ear infection. Use 3 to 4 times per day for 5-6 days consecutively. But no more than 10 days. Also, I like super echinachea, that i make w/ garlic, and goldenseal.

ESSIAC- a known cure for cancer. You may purchase this at many natural health food stores. Essiac was discovered by the Objibwa People. You may buy the herbs and make your own tea, or buy a bottle and take w/ hot water for tea.

From Dr. Schulze’s Natural Medicine & Treatment for the incurrables:

Treatment for cancer: herbs to increase blood and oxygen to the brain: ginko baloba, rosemary, and cayenne. Elevate the feet-lower the head of the bed.
Herbs indicated: pokeweed root, chaparral – strong anti oxidant to destroy tumor.
Red clover – anti cancer – thins the blood so blood can circulate to the tumor.
Lobelia – thinking herb. Anti spasmodic. Helps blood circulation, blood flow, lympathic flow. Prana – vital energy flow to diseased area.

Breast Cancer: Garlic- anti tumor herb. For tumors, sulfuric acid poultice to burn off tumor.
Hot and cold alternating shower or bath, swimming, deep breathing, keep lymphatic flow moving.
Blend in the blender: slippery elm-poultice paste
Apple cider vinegar & water !/2 to ½
Pokeweed-burns the skin. Smother this paste around the tumor. Put cayenne pepper on an open would-rapid healing agent. Put poultice on all night, then during the day put on another. This is an aggressive program that will remove the tumor. It will come off. Aloe vera, slippery elm-poultices for healing the wound. Thousands of people have cured themselves all over the world.

HEART
Garlic, cayenne, ginger, alfalfa, exercise to clean the coronary arteries.
Hawthorne and cayenne heal the heart. Put cayenne under the tongue during heart attack and it will stop a heart attack faster than nitro. It will save a life. Herbs also indicated for congestive heart and rapid heart beat.

High Colestoral – Stimulate the liver to get fat out of the blood.

Nervous System Degeneration, nerve disease; Parkinson, MS, etc. Stress is the major cause. Eats up the immune system.
Herbs indicated for nerve stimulant: skullcap, oats. Nutrition: B-vit. Complex, whole grains,

Lew Garrets Disease: neurological disease- many people who don’t love themselves. Nervous breakdown. Eating Self – self destructive disease. Love yourself.
Herbs indicated: Skullcap, lobelia, put on face, learn how to relax.

For Lungs: Lobelia dilates bronchials. 1 dropperful 5x per day.
Expectorant herbs: wild cherry (a disinfectant). All tree barks (cherry) are natural anti bacterial expectorants. Comfrey, mullen, garlic and onions for lungs. Will kill cancer and kill infection.
Cough out tumors. Exercise to get lungs to expand and bring oxygen into the blood.

Liver cancer- milk thistle seed extract, take daily. Make tea and drink it. Binds, coats liver cells to protect them.
Liver cleanse: bitters, barberry, oregon grape, dandelion root and leaf. Cleans out liver. Chickory-put in salads.

1 T olive oil, 1 clove garlic, 8 oz citrus juice (orange, lime & lemon).
8 oz distilled water & 1 small ginger. Gradually increase to 2T garlic, 4-5T olive oil, more ginger root. Chaparral cleans liver, breaks up cancer tumors. 4C/day in tea. 4 heaping T/quart of water

Pancreatic Cancer: Stop all sweet food. All sugar. Endeocrine organ for women use Don Qui or angelica to balance hormones. Men use siberian Ginseng.

AIDS: Echinacea stimulates antibodies, use root tea and extract, thin blood white & red cells. There is some controversy in using echinacea for aids, more research is needed.
Red clover cure for cancer and aids.
Anti-viral- St. John’s Wort use tea or oil.
For nutrition: natural healing blood transfusion –JUICES! Get the juicer going.
Lemon balm – potent anti- viral herb, use plentifully.
Fungus Infections – tea tree oil, garble, etc, rub on skin for ring worm.
Lupus: Skin chickweed or oatmeal bath with peppermint oil.

Cut up roots and place in a blender. Add vinegar and olive oil. Blend.
May be used in juice or smoothie, or as a delicious, nutritious salad dressing!

Great all natural antibiotic. Can treat internal and external bacterial infections. A must in your medicine chest.

Grapeseed Extract –(Agricept) - concentrate – External, internal Anti-microbial. This works very fast! Great for treating food poisoning. Put a few drops in ½ glass of water and drink. Then repeat dosage every few hours. You will purge and be rid of the poison.

Rescue Remedy – Calming Essence. – For emergency use for upset or shock. Adults, children and pets. Put 7 drops under the tongue and repeat again in 20 minutes.

Cayenne PepperPowder - Will stop a heart attach faster than Nitro. Place a small amount under the tongue. Also indicated for bleeding, both internal and external wounds. If you cut yourself and are bleeding place on the wound and will stop the bleeding.

Astralagus – Immune system builder.
Osha Root – Immune system builder.

Echinacea tincture – To use at the onset of a cold. Use as often as possible. Place drops under the tongue. Do not take for more than 10 days at a time.
Also, Echinacea-Goldenseal tincture. May use as a mouth wash for sore throat.

Vitamin E oil for the skin. Especially for burns.

Plantain leaf salve – Use on all skin irritations. May use on burns, rash, exyma, mosquito bites, sores, diaper rash, chap lips and to beautify the skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar – to balance ph system. For arthritis – place 1 T. in ½ cup of water with honey and drink twice a day. Apple cider vinegar is recommended as a must in your medicine cabinet. To prevent infection, plague, colds, etc.

Vinegar of the Four Thieves recipe: 2 qts apple cider vinegar, 2 Tbs. Lavender,
2 Tbs. Rosemary, 2 Tbs. Sage, 2 Tbs, wormwood, 2 Tbs. Rue, 2 Tbs mint, 2 Tbs. Garlic buds. Combine the dried herbs, except the garlic, and steep in the vinegar in the sun for two weeks. Strain and rebottle. Add several cloves of garlic. Close lid. When garlic has steeped for several days, strain out. Melt parafin wax around the lid to preserve, or add 4 oz. of glycerine for preservation.
Dosage: a teaspoon at a time in water, and no more than 1 Tbs. An hour. Strong general preventative medicine.

Baking Soda in water – Place 1 T. Baking Soda in ½ c. water and drink at onset of a cold, flu or infection. Will act quickly to balance the ph system.

Asthma relief: garlic syrup. Recipe: ½ lb. Peeled garlic buds, equal amts. Of vinegar and distilled water to cover the buds. ½ pt. glycerine, 1 ½ lbs honey. Put peeled garlic equal amts vinegar in a jar, close lid tightly and shake well. Let stand in a cool place for 4-5 days, shaking twice daily. Add glycerine, shake the jar and let stand one more day. Strain and blend in the honey. Store in a cupboard or cool place. Dosage: 1 tsp with or without water every 15 minutes until the spasm is controlled. Afterward, give or take1 tsp every two or three hrs. for the rest of the day.

Modern Anti-Epidemic Vinegar: 1 qt apple cider vinegar, 1 lb garlic buds for 8 oz juice, 8 oz comfrey root, 4 oz oak bark, 4 marshmallow root, 4 oz mullein flowers, 4 oz rosemary flowers, 4 oz lavender flowers, 4 oz wormwood, 4 oz black walnut leaves, 12 oz glycerine. Make separate teas of each of the herbs. First soak each oz of herb in clean spring water. After ½ a day, simmer each herb separately for 10 minutes. Steep in vinegar for ½ hour. Strain out, simmer again, and reduce each herb so that it is concentrated. Press garlic buds into 8 oz of concentrated juice. Add 12 oz of glycerine to preserve. Place in large bottle and close lid. Add parafin for preservation power. Dose: 1-3 tsp during epidemics, or 1 tsp per hour if someone is ill with a communicable disease. Dilute w/water if too streong or add to hot herbal tea.

Garlic: For heart disease, prevents heart attacks and strokes by controlling high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood pressure. Also indicated for preventing blood clots, fights infection and may be stronger than penicillin, potent virus killer – indicated for herpes simplex 2 responsible for genital herpes; human rhinovirus (common colds); Parainfluenza 3 (common flu), protection against cancer; Diabetes – garlic reduces levels of blood fat, blood sugar, and increases the level of insulin the the blood. As an antioxident, a chemical that neutralizes free radicals which accelerate the aging process by stimulating ox
Circulation.

Olive Oil: take instead of butter. Good for internal and external. Feeds our cells, prevents virus, aids in detox. Put on bread instead of butter.

Honey is a must to have on hand. It's uses are innumerable. For colds, wounds, sinus. A natural antibiotic this will heal wounds quickly.
